Join the Naperville Area Humane Society (NAHS) for summer camp! Camp gives children the opportunity to learn about animal sheltering, behavior and more!

In addition to daily themed lessons and interactions with our shelter animals, NAHS’s Summer Camp Program provides children with opportunities to meet special guests (human and animal alike!), make new friends and enjoy their summer in a fun and unique way! Our Summer Camp program is offered in weekly sessions by age.

Summer CAMPS are as follows:

Art with Animals Mini-Camp (ages 4-5) $125
Art with the Animals is a 3-day mini-camp that incorporates animal themed art projects and lessons about pet care & safety, specially designed for younger minds! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - May 29 - 31, 2024

Friends for Life Camp (ages 6-8) $180
Friends for Life gives campers the opportunity to learn and make new friends (animal and human)! With special guests from The Naperville Area Humane Society and other local animal organizations, each day will be a new adventure! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - Session 1: June 3 - 7, 2024 / Session 2: July 15 - 19, 2024

Animal Neighbors Camp (ages 9-11) $180
Animal Neighbors teaches campers how to be a good neighbor to animals of all kinds! Campers will have the opportunity to meet and learn about a variety of animals with the help of some special guests! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - Session 1: June 17 - 21, 2024 / Session 2: July 29 - August 2, 2024

Active Animals Camp (ages 11-13) $180
Active Animals gives campers the chance to learn about how important it is for animals to stay active! Our campers will get the chance to work with our shelter animals to help them stay active and fit, and will learn from special guests! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - Session 1: June 24 - 28 / Session 2: August 5 - 9, 2024

PAWsome Manners Camp (ages 12-14) $180
PAWsome Manners allows campers to work with our shelter animals and learn all about positive reinforcement training techniques! Students will help prepare our animals for success in their future homes and learn about different types of training from special guests! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - Session 1: June 10 - 14, 204 / Session 2: July 22 - 26, 2024

Veterinary & Animal Careers Camp (ages 12-15) $220
Our Veterinary & Animal Careers Camp allows young teens to explore future careers in veterinary medicine or other animal related careers! Campers will learn through lessons, shadowing and hands-on activities. Students will gain knowledge on animal husbandry, reproduction, diseases, nutrition, how to pursue their desired careers and more! Camp is held 9:00am - 12:00pm.

2024 Dates - July 8 - 12, 2024
